Sumptuous golden bamboo design hand-painted on black lacquer. This Chinese screen epitomises the opulent style of Shanghai furniture in the colonial period. With its elegant black lacquer background the ornate bamboo pattern of the screen is completed by following traditional brush-stroke methods. As all of our bamboo gold screens are hand-painted, designs may differ slightly from the images displayed.
