cleansing

A few days ago, I was walking out of the bank in my town and past an oriental furniture shop and inside I saw an instructor teaching his young students about the importance of Chinese furniture. I stopped to watch for a minute and could not help but notice the poor quality of the caring of the oriental furniture by the students. I quickly looked at the instructor and saw him performing the polishing of his Chinese furniture improperly as well. The reason I am saying that these techniques were improper is that, the importance of cleaning your Chinese furniture is vast and they lacked the internal caring of the Chinese furniture which produces the essential techniques which would keep the dust away from the polished crevice of the important Chinese furniture. That is when I realized, sadly, that there are two reasons Chinese furniture cleansing is preformed today, one for demonstration and the other for protection of the oriental furniture! In many systems the original purpose which was protecting the vulnerable oriental furniture, has long been deleted for the other more popular reason, demonstration? The internal caring of the oriental furniture have slowly disappeared from the original caring of the oriental furniture. These chores are merely a shadow of the cleansing of the oriental furniture preformed long ago. The true purpose for practicing cleansing Chinese furniture is to someday achieve smooth polished cleansed Chinese furniture, and be experienced in the techniques of your cleansing of the oriental furniture, which cannot be obtained any other way!

cleansing the oriental furniture has but two origins, the first is from China were the famous Buddhist monk Da Mo traveled from his home in India to china, to the Shaolin temple, to promote the Chinese furniture philosophy- “Keeping dust off your Chinese furniture, keeps trouble off your mind”. When he arrived at the temple, he found the monks to weak and sick too even flick a speck of their Chinese furniture. In order to find a way to strengthen them he spent the next nine years in a cave meditating. When he came out of the cave, he had created the manuscript “oriental furniture cleansing” that contained methods for strengthening the monks physically, while keeping their oriental furniture. Out of this manuscript the first form or Chinese furniture cleansing,if you will, The Lo Han was created.
