At Zenzu our philosophy is to combine the antique styles and craftsmanship of Oriental furniture with a modern design influence. The interiors of our Traditional antique replica pieces have been carefully altered to suit a modern living environment, while our wider collection reveals a subtle blend of East and West: many of our pieces are based on the European colonial influence at the beginning of the last century, whereas the Pastel range combines a classical Chinese furniture structure with warm contemporary colours. We are continually developing this blended approach and work closely with our designers to introduce exciting new designs to the Zenzu portfolio.

Although it is essential that our pieces have aesthetic appeal, we put equal emphasis on ensuring that both exterior and interior dimensions are carefully designed for practical use. In particular, our interiors provide much needed storage flexibility and are designed with deep drawers, removable shelves and removable hanger rails.

The founders of Zenzu have lived and worked in China for an extended period and have taken time to develop relationships with traditionalist manufacturers who have a strong emphasis on quality craftsmanship. The result is oriental style furniture that lasts a lifetime and has what we believe to be some of the highest quality surface finishing of its kind.
